A previous order is a useful starting point, not a substitute for the next quote. Send the order reference and new quantity so Rick can check current supply, pricing and estimated delivery.

Keep the same
Identify the approved product, specification, finish and packaging you want repeated. Include the previous order reference or product reference so the item is clear.
Update
State the new quantity, destination and required timing. List any changes to the item, packaging or other requirements rather than leaving them in an earlier email.
Reconfirm
Review current availability, price, preparation time, shipping plan, payment terms and agreed checks. These may differ from the previous order.
Use a short reorder brief.
Previous order reference: Item(s) to reorder: New quantity: Keep the same: Changes requested: Issue(s) from the last shipment: Delivery city / ZIP: Required timing:
Bring forward what you learned.
- Flag anything that did not match the last order's requirements.
- Include photos and the affected item reference if they help explain the issue.
- Say which change you want considered for the next order.
A comment after delivery does not automatically change the next specification. Put the requested correction in the new brief and check that it appears in the written order details.
Rick follows up on the new request. You review and approve the current quote before the supplier order is placed. If the original item is unavailable, any proposed alternative needs a separate decision.
